Need assistance?

Anyone is welcome to stop by our little free pantry locations (5151 Central Ave. and 2837 E. New York Street) and take whatever they may need; there are no forms to fill out or requirements to get help. Simply help yourself to whatever you may need, whether that's one item or the whole pantry. Our pantries are self-serve and open 24/7. They are stocked multiple times a week and stock varies daily based on donations.

While we aim to help as many people as we can, we know we're just a small Band-Aid on a much larger problem. If you need additional support or services, please check out the list below.

Apply for Holiday Assistance

Central General Store is pleased to provide holiday gift assistance to Indianapolis-area families. Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis; we will accept as many families as we can, given our volunteer and donor availability.

Please stay tuned for the 2023 application.
